ELECTRICS 2

Spot lights (4 in total) and a dual tube striplight have been fitted around the underside of the overhead storage unit to compliment 2 fluorescent tubes in the van ceiling - In practice 1 to 2 spotlights provide ample light - the strip light is very useful for reading,

As regards home comforts! Ive fitted a tuner / CD player - The sound from which is utterly brilliant - and it goes up to 11! (not seen Spinal Tap ??). Also A TV booster just in case - In reality I doubt ill bother with a telly !! The two 13Amp sockets below it are mains outlets from a 500w inverter.

The Inverter connects directly to the battery with fairly substantially "heavy" wire.

IM not an expert in van wiring. I learned all I needed to know by doing lots and lots of reading, hence I dont see it my place to go into the technical aspects of van electrics - fusing, earthing, wiring etc. - but some very good sites exist and im sure the authors wont mind me recommending you take a look - they certainly helped me!
