SHOWER CUBICLE

I toyed with the idea of having a shower cubicle for quite some time - The idea of spending an additional £300 pounds or thereabouts (just to heat water) put me off - I have made provision for installing a water heater at a later date, but decided that at this point it was quite a low priority. However I had built a toilet / wash room. So the idea of installing a low cost shower intrigued me. I decided that there was a way around the problem. So I designed a stand alone shower - with an independent water pump and tank from the main feed. I used a 25litre tank and ran a submersible pump out of it up to a standard shower head. The shower pump is turned on/ off using a standard pull cord bathroom switch. So when I want a shower I simply facilitate the camp sites hot water supply  or boil a couple of kettles and top up with cold - Might sound like a lot of hassle but better than tramping off to camp site shower blocks and it only cost me £40!
